My interest in cooking began when I was very young, sitting at the kitchen table and watching my mom and grandma cook. Growing up with home cooking made me appreciate the taste of meals straight from the oven. As my interest grew into a passion, I also learned to appreciate the time and effort it took to prepare such delectable meals.
Soon, I was cooking meals for tailgates, dinner parties, and large gatherings and received frequent requests from friends and family for meals. What started out as a hobby, quickly took on a life of its own – from scratch personal chef service was born.
I am a member of the U.S. Personal Chef Association and a member of the USPCA's Capital Chefs Chapter. My self-taught culinary skills span more than 15 years, and my formal training includes classes at L’Academie de Cuisine. I also have a degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
